Three months ago the respondent crossed the border Edirne to a town called Rizia in Greece. There was a camp nearby and he went there to try and register. The respondent and his family were at the camp for only 30 minutes when the Greek police arrived with a car and a big white van, and put them inside. They were driven to the edge of the river and handed over to the ‘commandos’. The ‘commandos’ were wearing masks which only showed their eyes, they took the respondents phones, backpacks, everything they had. They beat some people but the respondent was not beaten because ‘we are a family they didn’t harm us’. They were put in a dinghy and made cross the river to the Turkish side. When they arrived in Turkey, they were caught by Turkish authorities and sent to a camp which the respondent described as a jail.
